"I'm writing from Tobermory on the north end of Mull. Its rainy and grey today, just the kind of weather I should have expected. We just had a fish and chips lunch in a small restaurant two stories above a ferry pier. Yesterday we saw Duart Castle and then biked a highland peak 1900 feet up. It was a lot of fun and we saw some jack rabbits, deer, eagles and, best of all, some highland cows. They are brown with long long hair and horns." - Keith MacLean

old toilets

As for the toilet, I would like to see it repaired. It is an antique that goes with the sink and tub. I have always loved its unique flush mechanism which seems to be fascinating to young kids.  I just asked one if she liked the big bathroom at the River and she said "yea." I asked her why and she said "because it has the button." I think it would not be too hard to get it running well.  The hardest part would be repairing or finding a new lid for the tank which has a chunk broken off at the front left corner. You are right, the problems in the bathroom need to be resolved.
